If you are actively using Query Store and have previously installed Microsoft SQL Server 2017 Cumulative Update 2 (CU2), it is imperative to run a specific script after applying CU28. This script ensures the proper functioning of Query Store after the update. However, if you have already installed SQL Server 2017 Cumulative Update 3 (CU3) or any subsequent cumulative update, running this script is not necessary.
Analysis Services CU Build Version¶
Starting with Microsoft SQL Server 2017, a distinction exists between the Analysis Services build version number and the SQL Server Database Engine build version number. These version numbers no longer directly correspond.
